NWN: Hordes of Underdark

What server you play on den? a buddy of mine is playing on a server that is based on a guys 10 year campaign... is trying to talk me into it... I might go out and buy it just for kicks and giggles, have played d&d for many many years (started in 79)

Is PvP worthwhile? or is PvM its main focus. I havent played multiplayer hardly at all. We might have to set something up sometime.

I really want to dig into the Aurora tools and whip up some goodness.

I don't really play on "any" server. I just drift around big social/story servers (ones that have 40+ players), but I've yet to actually join a MP server that hosted the NWN campaigns. My main focus is SP mods, but its becoming rather boring playing through alone, if only I could add my very own henchmen into the games.

Also, I haven't played multiplayer since I got HotU, but now that I've beaten it, I'll probably go back to my frequented servers.

PvP is great with big, versatile groups, or between two high level sorcerers/wizards. Hundreds of servers are devoted entirely to PvP, they make up at least a third of all the servers.

Update: A very well-maintained server, World of Inquitity, was originally a NWN only server, but now it has upgraded to some form of hybrid, where some things that were changed in HotU weren't passed over in this server (Like the level requirements are still active, and some feats don't exist). I am currently playing on there as Haman Brina, a level 6 monk training in the quarterstaff and crossbow.

Well I didnt end up getting HotU for Christmas like I was hoping. Instead, I got Dungeon Siege + the expansion, Legends of Aranna, another kick-ass game I asked for. Tomorrow I will be going out to buy the NWN expansion.

Poo and I have been playing HoTU since I got in xmas eve. we are currently also playing through SoU with Archmage (just started that though) so if anyone wants to join us then just give any of us 3 a shout and we'll give you the info on the server

ok the HoTU server name is PHX and the password is phoenix and the SoU server name I will have to let you know when I'm at home, or Archmage can fill you in as he's hosting that one.
