You know you've been playing too much COD when...

Post by Ayyyla »

(Dream) I'm at the grocery store which is not inclosed inside, but outside with grass in between the aisles and the aisles spaced apart a little farther than usual. I'm looking for lunch items - something different but not loaded with calories. Everything I look at is loaded with calories.

But there is another more serious problem with the items...

If I pick them up...everyone will get notice that "a person has picked up bananas" or "a person has picked up a frozen entree" and then everyone will know what aisle I'm in and come for me...

...as in retrieval in COD, when someone picks up the field radio.

*Ayyyla has picked up No Pudge Brownies*

*Arch crouches by checkout counter - waiting to bash from behind and run off with the brownies*

*Clean-up on aisle 6. There seems to have been a headshot. Repeat, clean-up on aisle 6. Headshot.*

"Billy, restock the box of panzerfausts."
"Pansy-who?"
"Damned newbie."

Don't worry Ayla, I go the same thing. It isn't with COD though. It happens just after a bad nights sleep or a good nights sleep where I'm dopey in the morning. I don't think everything is like COD, but I fall into a whole new frame of mind. Everything in my head suddenly just works. Everything seems connected in a logical way and everything I do seems obvious. It's hard to explain, but it is damned annoying. The only other frame I've fallen into is where I think of something and for a while in my head I think that it is part of reality and that I just gotta find it. So like I'd think of brownies and I'd be walking around thinking we'd got some.

I think I need to see a psychiatrist. But it is spontaneous, so that's OK.

At least you guys don't dream in animation.

It sucks when my dream has only been in the draft stages. Everything's all sketchy and not completely colored.

More like, YOUR mother's a TRACER! (ooooh!)

Hell, my mother just uses a scanner.

What's really annoying is when I have a collaboration dream, when there's about five different animation styles going through the event. Some styles are so out there, I can't even tell who's who when they switch.
