I know BadAsh and myself were playing beta and then the demo. So now that the game has gone gold, anybody game for purchasing it? I like it better than 1942.

This game blows CoD and others out of the water. I played the beta a little bit.

The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because I wanted to see how many PHXers were going to buy it first. The game requires amazing teamwork, and the gameplay is amazing.
I have no sig.

I see the game requires teamwork but in many of the games i have seen in the past like this, people just like to do thier own thing. Do you think people will actualy use teamwork alot in this game?

once the clans enter the game, teamwork should pick up. i've seen more teamwork lately from helicopter pilots, engineers (mortors) and the like.

this game is castly superior to Battlefield:Vietnam. i get choppy movement at times with my puny GForce 2 tho (B:F is worse chop). also, i have the demo still since i haven't bought JO yet so maybe the retail copy is better in performance.

the demo is a 250mb download and it took me about 15 minutes to snag my copy so it isn't bad to try the demo first.

o and why is JO better than B:F (besides the easy-to-control helicopters)? because of the 150 person servers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's 75 chances to smit the enemy in the name of Fun!

p.s. the link is www.jointopsthegame.com i believe. the demo is in the download section. even i could find it....

Looks pretty sweet. I'll be trying the demo shortly.

Novalogic had a sleeper on their hands with Commanche 4 IMHO, multiplayer chopper battles are WAY fun.

I say! Damn, that is.

Now don't I wish I had fifty bucks.

This truly does blow all those other games away. I was on a 72-player demo server and had almost no lag AT ALL.

Novalogic was awesome back in the day, and even more awesome now, now that they went from all of those flight games to... uh, more stuff.

See I told you guys it was better than all the others.

I'll be picking it up next week. I move at the end of the month though and have a lot of packing and crap to do, but I'll be playing it a lot after that.

for those asking about teamwork on servers, just look at tribes and tribes2 ... required insane amounts of teamwork in ladder.

I have not looked at the game but I will check out the demo version, sounds like it might be cool.
