CounterStrike: Source

Post by BadAsh »

Valve has released their HL2 packages over steam, anyone who orders HL2 over steam will immediately have access to CounterStrike: Source.

Is anyone else planning on getting HL2 over steam or getting it at retail.

I think I'm gonna buy it online tonight as the Retail Collectors edition only comes on DVD and I don't have a DVD-Rom drive in my system.

Counterstrike 2 is surnamed "Source" because Half-Life 2 made the "Source 2" Engine, which CS:S uses. At least, that's how I heard it, and by heard it I mean created a fictional meeting room of execs thinking of a reason to name Counterstrike 2 something else.

I'm going to wait for retail before I get HL+CS, I don't trust that valve Steam client thingie.
