X-Mas party mess

Post by Grudge »

Well I am just now home from my year end x-mas party from work. My work rented a few lanes and the bar at a bowling alley. I bowled a whopping 169 and was topped by my welding assistant at 179 who bowled a total of two times in his life, asshole. well 9 beers and two shots (apple pucker and absolut vodka per shot) later I arrive home (I wasn't caught driving therefore it wasn't illegal) only to be reminded by the accumulated snow that I have to plow my driveway. I have a 110 foot drive and I started my snowblower with the electric start and blowed my driveway clean (Blowed, hehe). well now I am awaiting my wife to come home and ask me where all my money is (cash bar) and with that I wish you all a happy freaking holidays.

TNS who commented in Rat's account: Same to you Grudge. Although I guess I should just wish for you to survive the holidays :)

Tell her that you paid someone to do the driveway and to drive your car home (someone else followed to take that person home or back). That explains how the driveway got cleaned (and why some money is gone) and how you got home in a semi-liquored state w/o driving (and how some more money is gone).

8-)

"Spent on something very special." Accentuate on 'very special' and she'll think... whatever she wants to think.

But then you'll have to look for a very believable cubic zirconia.

You guys have no idea. Tell her the truth. She will appretiate it in the end. Oh you will still probably catch a shit storm but that is a given in a case like this. :D

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

after 12 years of being together she knows me well and I know as well that I can't fool her (as entertaining as it is to try sometimes). she expected me to be broke and was happy with my meager $50 bar tab... I hope she never wakes up and smells the coffee (that would mean she stayed the nite at someone elses house since we don't make coffee) My new years resolution should be something meaningful this year but I already gave up SWG and I never had smoked and I have to keep the weight on (it's cold here) and drinking gets me drunk... I am sure I will come up with something tho.
