UT 2k3 is out right now :)

Post by GeneralH »

Most places will get the games in early and must hold them in the back until a offical release date. They do this most of the time to allow all the stores to get their stock in hand to make sales fair. If one place had stock and started to sell 3 days early than your fav place, you as well as everyone else would be there in a heart beat :)

The place I get my games from are loaded with morons.....I know the manager so its all cool. When a game comes in early this guy lets me have it right away. UT came in late Friday, which they did not get around to unpacking until Sat. I got the call at 5:50pm that the game was there, but was pissed because the place closes at 6. I know I drive fast but to make it there in 10 mins would have landed me in jail for sure - hehe.

The guy is cool, sure enough I get a knock on the door and there he is asking for money. Normally I would tell him to hit the road but this time he had this nice box in hand with UT writen on it.

For those in the US - most EB stores have this game in stock and will sell it today (Sunday). All stores are set to sell this game Monday (even EB's in Canada). The real large sell all kind of places are not set to sell the game until Tuesday but most game stores let it out today.

So if you're in the US there is time to get the game today.

On another note - SoundBlaster Audigy 2 hits stores Oct 15th and this card supports digital 6.1 surround for SOF2 and UT :) Can you tell that I am drooling....I knew you could.

My family is here right now.....Time to get the weapons out and kick them out of my house - Not to say that UT is more important than family.....But it is :fist:

IDO and I both got copies today, so we'll probably be playing this week. I'm not abandoning SOF2....I feel that there is room enough in my world for both. When I get stressed or frustrated, I can take a breather...and play the other one.
