AOC Update

Just curious if anyone else is still keeping up to date with the development of Age of Conan. If you check their forums, they have an update every Friday from a Funcom employee. It's usually a detailed description of a class, today being the Demonologist. I still anxiously await the update on the Bear Shaman. I plan on either playing that or the Herald of Xotli.

Also, they released 2 videos from the GDC here. Some cool stuff like character creation, NPC interaction, combat and creatures.

I guess the only things we really need more footage of is the PVP action and maybe the crafting system (if there is one).

Is the focus of AOC PVP, PVE or a mixture of the two? Can I go to the site and get general info about the game, like what type of pvp they'll have (i.e. if I die, I lose my armor/ exp/ gold/ etc...) and all that jazz?

Its focus is pvp with the feature of village raids as well as solo pvp in the game, you lose blood money in pvp and use it to buy pvp gear and armor. I think this is still the first game out in 2007 to use D10 should run well on my new comp. In my mind this game will be big it has some very nice features- player houses,guild halls,and a new attack/fighting system not ever seen in any game. Travel will be good as well with boats,horses, and flying mounts. Thye took the swg way of setting up player homes and guild halls so the land is first come first serve.
