New Logo (attempt #2)

As you'll remember from this earlier thread, I'm looking for a new logo for the site. I really liked the submissions from the previous thread:

Alas, I changed the theme I'm going with, so of course the dimensions and color changed.

Here's the new criteria:

1) Size must be no larger than 417 pixels by 87 pixels
2) The background color must be #434A4E (it's a grey color, so if you get something else - it's wrong.)
3) Main colors are still red, black, and white, so try and stay with those, but I won't exclude those that use other colors.

I'd like these sooner, rather than later.

What does the page look like?

My previous flash one just floated in the top left corner, away from the stuff around it in that example page.
It could be designed so that the logo would merge with the stuff around it.

It's going to look exactly like that? "Newsflash" header and that 468x60 banner to the right?

Yes, it will have the newsflash and my plan was to use the banner spot to place images maybe promoting special guild events.

If you were thinking that maybe it would be nice to expand the width of the logo and get rid of the banner, we can definitely look at that.
