The artist formerly known as...

Post by Silvermagus »

I used to be Archmage and then Starscream on here (near decade ago). Got CS: GO and BadAsh told me you guys are still around. I thought I'd drop in as I want to get back into gaming but just wondering what you are playing now. Hope things are well with everybody.

Wow, not much activity on here. I'm Monte aka Archmage/Starscream (very brief), Silvermagus for couple years but now I have been StormMagnus for many years (even have email and twitter to match). St0rmmagnus gamertag on xbox one s. Anyway, hope you all have been well. I have bit more time for gaming as about 6 months ago my marriage dissolved. We are amicable though. What does everybody play now? If anybody is left around here.

I was just thinking about New York city guild trip in 2002 that most members bailed on but PooFlingingMonkey, Badash and myself had a great time.

I've been quietly lurking all this time. At the moment, I'm into Titanfall 2 when it comes to multiplayer.

Besides that, just a bunch of random single player games.

Yeah... those jerks... oh wait I bailed.... damn it. I think life took over for many... Miss the good old days. I am on in BF4, L4D2 and a little bit of CS:GO. Was in the alpha for BF1 and bought the game before Xmas but still haven't installed because I am out of space and distracted by the daily BS.

Hope everyone that swings by is doing well.

Hey there!

Im still around, dabbled in black desert with Roo, Xeide, and Yazule but it was too much pay to win for my taste. Currently messing around in Conan exiles, I would not recommend not a lot of content atm. Along with H1Z1 and Overwatch. With a constant oversight on Shroud of the avatar.

Yeah, I hear ya. I get older, life gets busier, and I have a harder time finding time for gaming. What's maybe a little sad is that I've gotten into mobile games a lot more, just because they're accessible.

I enjoyed playing ArcheAge with Yaz, Jimi, Xiede, Mask, etc.... That was a blast, but it was very time consuming to the point I eventually burned myself out and had to walk away. Tried Black Desert Online too, but it didn't grip me and I didn't like some of the mechanics. I've got preorders in for Crowfall and Star Citizen, but who knows when and if those will take off.

I keep thinking about getting Overwatch, but just don't think I have the time to play. Maybe things will slow down again in a year or so, but for now I just try to game when I can.
