Well dr. death after it has the osp fix and maybe the PB help crouch lean all you want .........it should be a good move to mix things up but as it is now it has too much help from bad programming. oh and Shasta are you kidding me?

Well regardless, even if they fix it I will still never use it. I come here and play on the PHX sever to have fun. If I can't play fair I will not play at all. I am an honest person and cannot stand liars and cheaters. I would prefer to get my ass kicked than cheat! Hell, I even stopped camping! LOL

I don't believe lean crouching is a cheat, it's just an exploit that took too long to be taken care of by the software gurus. I do it manually, never used a script...and I think it's a totally valid tactic. It can piss ya off sometimes, but if you learn to cope with it and find ways to counter it becomes less of a problem. The hitbox needed to be addressed with the gold patch. :crazyeyes:

If it makes it possible for me to pistol whip crouch-leaning snipers properly, i'm happy, simple as that, it was a stupid error in the program, it's being handled, lets wait for the fix to come into effect, then we can discuss this again, it's happening, deal with it.

I completely agree that any multi-move bindings or scripting removes the last shred of dignity this game had…but like others I have trained myself to move in such a manor without resorting to the above methods….in fact…I find it hard to UNtrain my figers away from such moves. Clans like CAFN and others (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) use scripts and binds to provide a CHEAP advantage to their teams…and it makes me want to take a dump on their moms heads. (Excuse me…hehe…but it pisses me off). Hopefully there will be a patch to fix this nonsense…but until then, excuse me and the rest of us legit players for attempting to even the score a bit…even though it irks me to know Im taking advantage of an exploit. Until this is deemed cheating…or fixed…those of us who are playing competitively in STA, CAL, OGL, or other leagues need to find a way to counter the inevitable bullshit that the higher ranked teams throw our way…

First of all I'd like to say that I believe move-scripting is cheating.
Second, if this exploit(crouch-lean) was a CHEAT, it would have been addressed sooner by evenbalance/pb/raven. It is not a cheat, it is an EXPLOIT that has taken too long to be addressed. I'm sorry to say, but the whining about it being a cheating move is bs. If everyone can do it, without being pb'd and it isn't some downloaded or programmed by yourself cheat...IT IS NOT CHEATING. Cheating is something that is done to give you an unfair advantage againts everyone (aimbot, wallhack, ballhack, you name it)...so, if everyone is able to crouch lean by default in the games design(and can do it as a counterattack)...it is not cheating. It just took too long to fix this exploit in the game, and like I said...it should've been addressed in the gold patch cause we've known about this problem for wayyy tooo lonngggggg.

it is a bug, using the bug for an unfair advantage is an exploit (you are "exploiting" a bug) ... exploit = cheat

no way, no how, you could make ANY argument that an exploit ISNT a cheat, and you called it an exploit.. therefor it IS a cheat. Splitting hairs just says "I like using it"... when in actuality it gives an unfair advantage against anyone using a shotgun... You really dont want to argue the postition you have taken because I wont let it slide, I wont let someone say on these boards that exploits are not cheats without me continually arguing it.
