Had a little chat with IDO last night discussing repawn times. What would be a good time to set for respawn, it is curently 5sec. we could also have a different time for each map. So post your opinion

shop69 and flagfight definitely should be 10sec or more IMO

1) downloaded all the maps, love them all, fix barn but love the rotation. I miss team temple though :(. I think we have not played Kam5 enough now that it might be fun in the rotation too.

2) I think spawn is best at 15 sec so that people value their life more.

I think the respawn time is fine the way it is. If it is to be changed I would say no more than 10 sec. Also one idea I had was to change the spawn for blue on shop69. It is just way to dam close to the flag, hell its right on top of it and is a bitch when your red and you grab flag and can't kill anyone because of the imunity. Maybe put it on the side of building right front of where spawn is now. If I'm not mistaken I.D.O., you did say with this new OSP you can change spawns, right? Thats all I can think of for now, maybe more later.

I definitly agree with Death. That spawn is way too close. And respawn should be atleast 10 seconds.

wildbilleasykill here: i think the spawn times are good , but if they change let it be about 7 sec or so. all everybody whats , if they kill you they get the flag for sure. i think its much better the way it is. but if you do have to change it just add a little then. i also agree with dr. death that some of the spawns are to close. we must remeber that this is a game and all who joins are server must be able to have fun if they don't , they will leave . make it interesting and fun for all . i'am also a 2nd degree black belt , but i was a white belt first . piont is make it fair and fun for all
for those of you who are good {or great} let the little guys & gals have fun too! when the spawn is 5 sec as it is it makes those other { good & great } guys think twice . i think a good soild 5 sec is good. skill is not important to have fun ! if i whated to sit camp and pick on all the easykills i could be great too. have fun and enjoy the game !!!!

ps. i what grenade lauchers too!!! ha ha

7 or 8 seconds, especially on shop69...

Ok. I was a little testy last night when I made that post about the speed. Didn't mean to be so harsh. But I like the speed the we were at before. But thats just my opinion. Sorry to Tas and Bill about last night also. I have been having some really s@$%y days as of late. So if I seemed a little out of line I'm sorry.

I know I dont play a lot of sofII any more, but "insta spawn" reduces tactics.

When I am a tunnel rat coming up behind red spawn I am trying to sneak by, not kill spawn. 5 seconds is not long enough for that.

If you spawn next to your flag (or very close) 5 second spawns make it almost impossible to get the flag. (shop for example)

When you die to a guy close to your base and just spawn up and know exactly where he is it kinda sucks for the other guy. 15 seconds (max, you will still get some 5 second spawns if you get lucky) is enough time to find a new place to be or find a pack.

Again, I dont play much anymore, but when I do I always enjoy spawn times... yeah it is frustrating sometimes, but makes you think more aout dying.
