Diablo 2 1.10 patch

Downloaded the long awaited 1.10 patch for Diablo2, and all I gotta say is DAMN! The difficulty got kicked up about 5 notches.

I got a 82 Sorc on USEAST (Ice_Engine) and I can hardly survive. Its ULTRA challenging in HELL, but also VERY VERY FUN!

Most hacked and duped items should be deleted, so hopefully Blizzard has a grip on items once and for all.

Also, you can create a LADDER character, which has some interesting features.

So if you haven't played Diablo2 in a while, brush the dust off the CD and do yourself a favor. Theres good reason this is one of the top 5 games played in the world, and it's just got alot better.

I'll be playing this for a while, I am certain.

Well it took a little hard searching, but I finally found my copy of Diablo II burried in my old desk drawer....installed it today...maybe Ill see ya in there Xor and Den!!


One thing I just realized....Are you playing Diablo 2 or the expansion for Diablo 2.....I dont have the expansion so hopefully you are not playing that!

LMAO for me its the opposite. I only have the expansion, but not the original. I had borrowed the original just for the install lol.

I think it is a total pain in the butt to make sure the CD is in the drive everytime you run the game. I have been looking around for a no-cd fix for the new 1.10 patch...all I can find is for all the previous versions.
This is one that I found. Does anyone know if it will work for 1.10??


Copy the following file from CD#2 (PLAY CD) to the game directory:
D2MUSIC.MPQ
Apply the official Diablo v1.08 Patch.
Exit the Game.
Extract the D2LOADER.EXE file from the Loader Archive to the game directory.
Execute D2LOADER.EXE to start the game and reconnect to BNET or FSGS.
Play the Game!
