Yeah, I hope so! And spekaing of betas, I managed to get into the City of Heroes beta! Downloading it ATM. Seems like a cool game. Heck, it just might be better than L2!

Does anybody knwo the exact methods of purchase for L2? Is it like Star Wars where you have to buy the game and use CC/buy game card right away? Or can you buy retail and wait for the free month to end to buy a game card? (probabaly not) I'm pretty sure its the first option, I'd just like to make sure.

Because there is no character wipe (obviously because they CAN'T wipe, there are Korean servers that have paying customers already), you probably do NOT have to buy the game from retail if you've got the beta, you only need to start paying with that key you have.

Not buy the retail? Why would NCSoft do that? Wouldnt they be losing a ton of money?
Arch, I went to EB today and they told me Game Cards will be shipped by tomorrow, so i dont need to worry about CC.

Ugh...after reading their initial impressions of L2 on gamespy today I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole attached poo's arm while dangling him from a rope tied to a helicopter I'm flying remotely from the other side of the planet.

Wel, I guess thats another reason I might be reconsidering buying this game. Im either gonna get L2 or UT2004. Which do you guys suggest?
I really like both games (cant stop playing the demo of UT), but in both cases, there arent any people playing these games (Xor?).

get neither...buy painkiller instead. it is supposed to have good old-skool single player and the deathmatch is supposed to be decent as well.

UT2004 Onsalught is the bomb. The only reason PHX is not playing it as a whole is because people have not tried it. Once PHX'ers try the game, we'll be playing this alot more. But since people think its just another UnrealTournament, it may take a while for people to see the light.
I usually just play on random servers with low ping and lots of people.

My god, you must be kidding! That was one of the crappiest game si have ever played. Serious Sam was better than that trash.
