Salacious :
I find it odd that you claim how good you are and NO ONE ELSE has PB issues and then all of a sudden WHAM!
LoL, me and IDO posted the same stuff at the same time, so I removed it.
This appears to be one of those proxy hacks attempting to subvert PB. *shrug*

Ahh, because I like proof (and being right) I just wanted to double-check to make sure his story held z3r0 weight, so I sent the following e-mail to PunkBuster:

Here was the response I received:A player got kicked from our server with the following logged:
[06.07.2004 19:21:51] VIOLATION (PB HACK) #130101: salacious (slot #10) Violation (PB HACK) #130101 [7e856c8cf147e6bab69af5a49858b653(-) 24.10.55.20:28960]
Of course, they came to our forums and pleaded that they are innocent and gave this reasoning:
"hey just lettin you know i wasnt on punkbuster so it booted me out. i wasnt cheating. it was because i froze and i exited the game and when i came back my settings werent the same and i had no reticule and my punkbuster was turned off. i just wanted to make that clear i am not a cheater"
I, of course, don't really believe his story and consider it more of an attempt to save face, but I thought I would verify that his version of events could not be plausible and result in that "detection"
Thanks!

Funny......Hello,
You are right, that kick is from a hack that the PB client found on
his computer, and then sent to your PB server. A freeze would do
nothing, and this sounds like utter BS to me. I know what that hack
is, and we just added detection for it, my guess is we caught him
before he knew that we had released an update.
