Cold play isnt bad, but I find their music to be too.... relaxing. I tend to fall asleep while listening to them lol.

My favs are Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Alexisonfire, AC DC, Guns N Roses, Judas Priest, Saxon and Anthrax.

Funny, the only bands that are fairly "new" that I like are CoB and Alexisonfire. IMO, a lot of new rock and metal all sound the same.

Ya Lev, Boston rocks. The new Drowningpool<----spelling might be wrong. Not all the new rock sounds the same. Theres a new band out and I cant remember there name but its Tracy Guns (from L.A. Guns) and Nikki Six (of Motley Crue) and they are pretty good. Also, all you KISS fans, dont go wasting your money on the new Gene Simmons solo album. It is absolutlely the most horrendous thing I've ever heard.

The list goes on, but it follows that genral pattern.
