Hope they are ANSI Z87.1 rated, with side protection. remember they are eye protection not forehead portectors (that's what my boss always tells me when I am walking around with my saftey glasses on my forehead)

2 1/2 months ago I had a sliver of metal removed from my left eye. I was wearing saftey glasses. first the doctor numbed the eye then dyed it with an ultraviolet dye then he looked for the sliver when he found it he used a cotton swab to try and wiggle it out. well that didn't work so he left the room and came back with a huge syringe , a big fat ass needle. I told him "I hope that's for knocking me out" he said he has to use the needle to dig around the sliver and pry it out..WTF!!! so I sat there with my face up to this machine while I watched him slowly slowly slowly approach my eye with a needle. it sucked. it hurt like hell later too. i think that guy may have been the janitor.

Ya, I had the dye and the swab also. It was realy cool the way my eye glowed. She let me look in the mirror with the black light. And did I mention I had this huge Russian female doctor? That was scary!
