Warhammer Online - Who is trying this, and where?

I am on Heldhammer, JungleJim on Destructo side, I got a shield level 4, there is autoloot by the way, you can play without using the mouse, pretty good so far havent had any disconnection problems, my video card is crappy and slow and still looks good, and plays smooth at 1280x1024, will be upgrading video card so I can go to 1920x1280 again.

I added you to my friends List, I am level 11 now probably 12 soon, I have joined a guild today, you need 6 people in a party to make a guild.

I am also apothecary skill

What is your character? If I get some good gear I can mail it to you, and if you get an chosen gear, I could use some upgrades.

You dont get alot of good drops, but most of my gear has come from pvping, where one on one I am very very hard to beat.

being completely turned off by aoc.. i wasted 60 bucks and bought it after hearing from everybody on vent in raids night after night that it was amazing..

if you've played warcraft in the past year.. this game really feels like a step back visually(lots of flashy particle effects for spells is a plus).. and the way things seem to move together... tons of quests to do tho... que's for pvp seem to take 15-20 minutes.. not really as much pvp as everybody brags about and im on a stacked server (dark crag) but i still am only rank 11 (archmage)... class balance doesnt seem to be TOO far off but some of the dps around the rank 10 area are a bit op compared to the ammount you can heal for... the public quests are pretty terrible, good idea.. but not put together right, just a grindfest hoping to do the most dmg in hopes of outrolling people on a bag of crap.

definately not going to hold my attention for that long if they dont get on the movement(walking stickfigure)/smoothness(mobs warping to you)of the game (looks and feels like it should have been released a few years ago).. the games new but its not like mythic are rookies when it comes to releases (quit comparing its release to WoWs release being you have like 5 years more knowledge/technology to work with)

WotlK comes out in november... you can now transfer your pve characters to pvp servers, not sure if any of you are going to get into that but i might fire up my blood elf since i sold my big pve account... hopefully some of the people that left AoC early for warhammer are as thrilled with it as i am and they come back since funcom fixed the pvp pretty much

WotlK.. jesus.. i think the best thing about WAR is that it is NOT wow.. another expansion, so you can have 10 more levels of doing the exact same thing.. don't get me wrong, i think wow is probably the best game i have played, but i persnoaly have played it to death..

WAR has tons of things wrong with it, if they can sort them out, they'll have a pretty good game.. if they don't, then blizzard wins again.. my fingers are crossed on WAR taking my attention until Diablo III comes out to be honest.. i've tried and tested a fair amount of mmo games, wow is by far superior to them all.. AoC could have been the one.. it failed in my opinion .. WAR could be the one, but i do see it also failing (fingers crossed they get their arses in gear and sort the shit out)...

Stargate Worlds.. well.. lets wait and see about this one.. Huxley.. hmm.. mmo fps.. sounds quirky to say the least..

i'm laying all my bets on Diablo III being the next best game and laying all my MMO fantasies to rest with it not being mmo

Diablo III looks way too much like wow to me......
From the screenies I have seen they lost the Diablo "feel".....
Diablo is supposed to be dark and gothic, it looks all bright and flashy, hence another wow.

cant really argue with anything blizzard does... the numbers just dont lie... it sucks that i played it nonstop (i also dont want to have to go back) and now i compare everything else to it.. they keep failing 1 by 1
