I usually go for a CG run-and-squish style character but i'm tempted to experiment around a bit more this time. What do you guys go for racewise as I usually go half-elf (though had fun in NWN with a dwarf monk :D). Am trying out the Aasimir atm but interested how other people go with it.

With Den a Sorcerer,
Undead now a Cleric,
Badash a Rogue-or-Fighter,
...I 'unno, we've got the magic, the healing and possibly the stabbing or the sneaking.
We could use a Ranger or another healer and just keep Neeshka NPC for the rogue stuff.
The main bases have been covered, anything else will do.

We're currently just about to set sail for Neverwinter.
It'd be good if the four of us were to group up before going forward.
Or we could always start from the beginning and get going at the same pace.

Butts will be liberally kicked in good measure! Butt Kicking for Goodness!

As said Den, i'm not gonna be up for multiplayer till next month so keep me out of the planning for now. Will be happy to jump in at a later date if you'll have me but for now i'm stuck with single player.

In order for me to play with you two I would have to re-install and re-patch, cause I got the 1.02 update before they pulled it. I'm not sure what that would do to my savegames though so I'm kinda just waiting for them to re-release the hotfix. If you guys do want to start over though I could probably host. My system is a bit faster than dens so it might run a bit smoother overall.

Trying to work out if the Aasimar ability to heal anyone anywhere anytime is a bug or actually costs me something. Is making it very easy so far.

Patching right now. We could try a new server on your computer Badash just to see the difference in speed. So far, it hasn't been too bad on Dens, but that may change when 2 of us connect to him.

yeah that's what I'm thinking, I'm gonna update over lunch and mess around with server settings, only half 1/2 hour though.

My rig's coughing up blood again, its likely we would have to start over with Badash hosting, as to not have complications were my PC to crash and/or lockup during a game.

k...I should be able to host no problem. I'll just set my ip to DMZ and we shouldn't have any firewall problems.

If you guys can keep an eye out for when they release the Linux Dedicated Server, I'll put it on our game server if that would help.

That would be cool...if the remote server program is worth a damn. The NWN1 one kinda sucked though, was easier to just run off someone's system

Anyone else have their NPC AI go heywire on the paladin mission in the mountains?

Ended up doing the whole thing with my main character solo as the paladin and NPC characters just stood there. (And no I don't have puppet mode switched on by accident)

you should just be able to hold down right mouse button and broadcast the command 'follow me'. That should get them unstuck. They are kinda retarded sometimes though.

Finally all done after 5 days of straight playing on the SP, can now get back to concentrating on this essay on ecotourism, as the game was making it hard to do anything on it.
