crouch and lean

Ive heard some dumb things in my time, but crouch and lean a cheat...your admins do not know much do they...if you players were any good you would know it only takes TWO buttons to do, this not a CHEAT like you claim...what were y'all born under rocks...mouse has five buttons and there are plenty of keys to bind (none of which is cheating)...I am sorry you got beat by a better player that knows how to crouch and lean, but I repeat CROUCH AND LEAN is not a cheat...look it up... aimbot, wallhack, ballhack, and removing textiles are cheats...Have a nice day

Silent1... Maybe you misunderstand. The crouch lean is NOT a HACK.. it is an exploit. If you are new to the game and are not aware there are hitbox detection errors that cause a player to take little or no damage when in the crouch lean position. Many players do or have used this because of many varied beliefs on whether it is right or wrong to do. Most PHX believe that it is an exploit and is wrong to do when standing in the middle of the street. The exploit is fixed in many of the new versions of OSP but it is still not acceptable.

If you would like information please look at this thread. (http://www.phoenixorder.com/modules.php ... opic&t=922 ) You can see the different view points but it is not a topic that I wish to revisit. If you donâ€™t like our server you can tell us without being rude and we try to make changes that all will enjoy but there are plenty more servers out there and we will admin ours the way we would like.

Crouch and leaning is poor form in my book.

the M590 is the real reason I hate crouch and lean, but I wouldnt be surprised if theres ways to exploit the other weapons as well.

Not sure if its a kickable offense of not, (M590 crouchers should be warned then kicked for sure) any thoughts?

never once did I stoop to name calling, I just said that crouching and leaning are all part of the game, why would they put this into game if it were not going to be used?...next y'all say that jumping and shooting are expliots...and yes this is your server to do with as you please, and you have every right to run it the way you want, but do not include simple moves as cheats...no I am not new at this game...if you really want to know how to shoot someone that is crouching and leaning, I will tell you, you smiple aim in the direction they are leaning, not where you think they are...works everytime...that advice was free next time there will be a charge...jk...try this sometime and see if it works...now the part about name calling shows that y'all are very mature, sorry I thought your players were adults...Ill be back...

If you can not respect other people views do not have open forums...idol threats are another sign of maturity...did not bash anyone simple asked questions...if you get that stress over words, them maybe you need larger stress toy...simple stated my thoughts on crouch and lean...never called anyone an ass or said anyone is stupid...was going to play at server when it became knowledge of the crouch and lean thing...so if you would kick me for crouching and leaning it would not suprise me to know that you would EXPLOIT your admins skills and burn someone for entering to your server, just because you do not agree with them...Now that WOULD BE CHEATING, would it not because only the admins have that power and not everyone else could have a defense...

crouch and lean just sux cos it ruins the game for everyone else if you get someone going around using an error in the game to win ITS NOT FAIR! although it still isn't a cheat because a cheats when you actually do something to the game or get help it still completly ruins the game for everyone :puppydogeyes:

I hate to add more, but 1 last comment on my behalf (..maybe). You mind as well give up, cuz you're argument is never gonna get through. We've had too many problems with crouch leaners in the past, along with a piece of shit patch that fucked our server. So you can imagine why we get pissed about somebody who gets in our faces about the damn exploit. So just give up, to avoid any more "unpleasantness".

Matters closed people, enough of the dumb comments. This has been run into the ground already. We all have our views, there is no reason to act like the clowns we are. Silent could have phrased his point a bit better, but this is stupid. Crouch leaning is annoying as hell, but is not a cheat, feel free to take the piss outta crouch-leaners, but there is no reason to use admin powers against a guy for it.

This is just gonna go round in circles, can we just accept the point made, and move on. We all know our opinions already, and so does Silent. This was bound to end up like this, so can we stop it here. I don't want another clan war starting this week.

Now crouch leaning around a corner, thats a different story. Everybody is allowed to do that. Just out of curiosity, did an admin give you shit for crouch leaning to see around a corner?

Ok ok here we go again eh.. aparrently you didn't read the post by I.D.O. Silent. It is an abnormality in the game where you crouch lean out in the open and you can't get hit by the shotgun very well when you do that. The ppl who know about this and use it to their advantage are exploiting that problem with the game. it is simple as that. looking around a corner is no big deal.. but if it it is done to me and I warn a guy that crouch leaning out in the open to exploit the hitbox bug in the game will piss me and others off and not to do it, they will get struck and if continued and eventually kicked by me if not another admin.. If you think, Time to Die, that it is not right to do this then don't.. but you won't dictate that I will not.
