Single-Player demos for both SWAT4 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory are available. They are currently in the headlines on Fileplanet.com.
I've played SWAT4's single mission, and it is definetly a game designed for Singleplayer. While the mission is a simple Hostage Situation, the full version is sure to have some epic missions. Along with the single mission is a Customizer to change the style and objectives of the map. There isn't much to do with customization for this one map besides the number of suspects and requirements for the mission such as not allowing a hostage to die.
Still downloading Chaos Theory right now, but I'm sure it'll kick some ass.
