Nevermind that the medical facilities are located inside tents and would not see me, I'm finally going home.
Someone has to be there while they rip out all my carpet and walls and try to make the place livable by something other than mold.
We've decided that until it is in fact really livable, we're going to leave our little boy here with his grandparents so he can continue to go to school and not have to suck in mold.
We had just spent a whole weekend cleaning his darned room up only to have them coming to take it back a freaking part. What a freakin mess this whole process is going to be, I don't even want to think about it. I hate being left alone with a bunch of freaking workmen. Clowns packed our house (people who are experts at putting a lot of stuff in a little space) so I don't know where they think they are gonna move things while they work and I don't want to imagine how long it's going to take them to do it or how half-assed a job they are going to do...but I digress.
I'll be home by the end of this weekend. Yay. I think.
I finally get to go home
