Hey, I got my case from Aspire as well, except I got the X-Cruiser. I love it (although I believe my temperature monitor is broken, since it's always around 80F and never changes).

Hehe, I'm assuming Mid is pulling your leg. In gaming performance, AMD64 has the crown across the board, sometimes as much as +20%. I know there are those that would dispute that, but my response is that the numbers don't lie. Just google "AMD64 vs Intel" and see ample evidence.

I should note that I am a AMD fanboy now hehe, so I am biased

Basically the same as what I just bought but, 300 gb sata hdd and 1gig single stick ( going for the 2 gig dual channel ) and a dvd burner

Medic make sure that your power supply is 24 pin atx v2.0 compliant or you won't get very far with the system. If you are not putting it together yourself and are getting it built for you then you shouldn't have to worry cause that won't be your problem.
