Weel they ahve annonced a new Guild Wars, and to be honest i will be picking this back up when it coems out. Here is a blurb about the New PvP system they ahve in place.

"World PvP is the solution for that problem." Strain said. "It acts as a bridge between the RPG world and the high-end PvP world." World PvP takes place in something called "The Mists." This is the nether region that exists between different world shards. In it, different worlds will be set against each other on a large battlefield that has a variety of objectives to attain. Large crews can attempt to seize gigantic castles while smaller group can work on protecting supply chains that feed giant catapults or capturing guard towers or defending important choke points. They key element, according to Strain is that nobody can be a detriment in World PvP. "There's no reason not to go out there because anything you do helps." Strain said. "Everyone reaps the benefits of your efforts while really good players or guilds can be recognized."

Sounds like some good stuff. I've always liked Guild Wars because of the no monthly fee, so this will be a must have once it hits. I think GW2 will be a 2008 title though.

Sounds nifty. In the meantime, how about a quest through Diablo II?

I'd have mentioned Hard Mode playthrough the original Phophecies campaign, but my damaged rig's wound opens when I run Guild Wars.

Prophecies campaign, from Ascalon to the Ring of Fire. Not Nightfall or Factions.

But instead, from the Rogue Encampment to Hell. And maybe a little further.

Den count me in, but i have forgotten how to play so i suggest we get togther for some warm up play first. i have my Trapper/Ranger Warrior/Monk Monk/Warrior

Sure could use some help against this guy.
A toe-to-toe fight using Charge to step in and evade his attacks would take hours alone.

I'm reinstalling D2 and LOD, but I don't know what type of time I have available.

Is your character an expansion or normal character, Den?

Expansion, Non Ladder.

27 Paladin (Meditation Aura), 18 Druid (Summoning), 12 Amazon (Javelin).

Lvl 28 Necro now - in Act IV vs Diablo. He's still stomping me though....
