Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
Keep this up and you'll have an entire wall covered in monitors.
Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
That would be soooooo cool.....

Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
Wish me luck. It begins tomorrow. Updated info on the tourney here->http://www.canadacomputers.com/Gaming_Challenge/ .The date was moved to the 21st-23rd instead of 7th-9th.

Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
I finished 4th in the first round so now i wait until tomorrow to play the other 3 rounds.3D set up not worth it in my opinion. Very dark and the glasses are made for someone who needs glasses so they sit away from your eyes. Good thing is you can drop the 3d lvl to almost nothing.

Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
so how'd you end up doing z2? I was 5th in first round, 5th in quarter finals, then was screwed out in the semis on asylum when they changed it to 10 players for 10 mins and restarted the round two times. Better luck next time.
Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
yeah, i got eliminated on Asylumn too. I had a 2 kill lead on 6th and the last 30 secs i ran the map looking for buffer kills. Didn't see anyone and the guy in 6th got 3 kills in that time. I was pissed. One kill from taking something home. I was very angry about the change to the rounds. I dont like playing 10 min rounds. I need time to adjust to the settings. I finished 4th, 4th and 6th. I knew i would have made it into the finals in a 30 min map. Just have to wait for MW 2. They will be having another tourney with that game for sure.

Re: Another Canada computers tourney in T.O.
I bet quite a few top players got eliminated on that map. With such small rounds (10 players, 10 mins) luck played a much bigger role in the outcomes. I was also pretty close - 2 kills away - to getting into the finals. It would have been better in those conditions if the organizers had a lower bracket available for eliminated players to get a shot at getting back into the final, so maybe I'll make that suggestion to them next tourney. That and having some backup PCs in case some systems destabilize so they don't even have to cut the server size in half like they did.
