Oh boy, now my Necromancer won't go a dozen levels before he actually uses a Skill point. Now he can put them into TEETH in the meantime.

I wonder if this patch will be out before Borderlands' release.

Borderlands has a lot in common with Diablo.

Four classes/characters with different skills and levelling.
Generated landscapes in a part roaming, part linear progression.
A bunch of pre-set quests/missions.
Four player integrated co-op.
Thousands of weapon segments procedurally combined to make every gun you pick up unique.

And then it takes place on a mountain/desert/badlands planet with vehicles and first person shooting in open landscapes and close quarters against other humans, monsters and big freaking things.

sounds like a lot of fun, i checked out its homepage, looks great.. visually its very appealing, and if its pulled off right, i think it might be a great game..

ha! showed the wife the ole movies, and we are agreed, if i buy it, it stays hidden from my 6 year old.. he'd love that.. but nah, he can stay with call of duty on the ps3, this baby will be ALL mine if i get it.... hopefully its rentable for the ps3, i doubt my PC would handle it very well.. and it takes a lot of thought and consideration before i buy a game without trying it..

thanks for the heads up :) you have my curiosity piqued

I too am looking forward to Borderlands. I would really like to see a beta/demo first though.

aye, they are getting to be a requirement now.. for example, i took the plunge and got myself a Darkfall account.. its a good game, i like it, but i think itsa going to be too much of a grind for me to stick with it.. i'll play out the month but i think it was a waste of money for me. i just dont have the spare time to spend on it, and i dont want to spend the time i use to be with my wife and kids on a game anymore.. so a demo would have been great for me.. would have saved me the cash :)
