Has anyone else taken a look at this ?

Steam lured me in with a big splash page ad for it... they had me at "free".

It's free to play, according to the developers it's what diablo 3 should have been... since I didn't play D3 I will take their word for it.

CCP put the finishing touches on this game with the 'Uprising' expansion/patch. It really looks like a finished product now as opposed to the compromised graphics and mechanics that existed in the open beta.

Looks pretty sweet. EVE is one of those games that just never gets old IMO. I still play casually after almost 6 years. (Ice Mining mostly while I'm doing other RL stuff)

I can't wait to see how they pull it all together.

That is nothing, I am going to make a new thread showing the baddest assest video game trailer I have ever seen.

I figured it would be ok after a few people kept asking me over and over if I had watched it yet.

I watched it. It broke my brain, I have to go get my ability to detect awesome replaced.

A friend of mine mentioned this game to me about 6 mos ago and I immediately shut down the conversation citing the bad taste still in my mouth from Star Wars Galaxies.

However, I have recently been looking into it and I have to say I'm actually starting to get all geeked up for it.
