This is my first room for a level.

Questions:
1)What should I designate it as?
2)Does it look OK?
3)Suggestions for next room.

BTW, I know some things are floating, so no smart arse comments (even though by saying this I know someone will)

Thanks for all the thumbs up guys. I need suggestions on what else to do and don't worry Lev, lots of cool rooves are possible.

This is the bit outside the room. There is a window which can be smashed, so there IS an outside to this place. Also the sign on the right says "Elevator to Roof". Hint: That means something (Lev).

nice with the elevator!
ummm.... why can't i see the pictures anymore? when i open the thread all i see are those damned red "x"s. this happens to me a lot when trying to view pics.... sometimes i see them then the next day i dont (i just see the bloody x)
anyone have any idea whats wrong with my nerd box?

ok, I want to add secrets to the level, but I don't know what I would make them for. I need some ideas for the secrets. Give them a purpose, like health packs or quick routes to certain places. Come up with something more elaborate than just those, otherwise it is boring.

BTW, images might not show up for a while. I exceded my daily transfer limit by 0.07 MB, so they might have punished me in some way :)

Here is the red flag area... It needs more padding out with boxes and other obstacles. Do you guys want it to be at the bottom of the building because blue will be at top (is that fair).

This is the stairs upto the second floor, because the lift goes straight to the roof. In the room is lots of shelves to duck and crouch behind. The windows in it have a polarised effect, so you can look out, but not into the room.

An invisible Ladder hidden in a corner you can climb to get to an omnipotent sniping spot.

Buildings right next to one another wherein you have to make leaps of faith to make it across.

A glass floor. Shoot it while some guy is running across and he either just falls a floor lower or waaay down to his death! Or a glass floor you can shoot through to get through a secret tunnel.

Or... throw them all together...

And have a hatch-sized glass floor tile you can blast through to drop you into a dark ventilation shaft with pitfalls (into deadly spinning fans) and damage dealing threats (Freezing/burning blasts of air) to manuver around to a secret ladder which brings you to the top of one very tall building wherein you need to make a leap of faith in order to get to the omnipotent sniping spot!

Yeah, that'll work. I think. The way to get there is so dangerous and difficult, that sniper spot is a godsend to anyone with an MSG90.
