On multiple ocassions, TNS.

Well, the best way to create something from scratch is to create it in the most simple way. Blueprints. And considering this is a skyscraper map of sorts, or at least a building that requires an elevator At least four+ floors plus a roof would make a considerably good-sized map (were it one building). Unless, of course, there are multiple buildings which can be entered and explored throughly, wherein the map could consists of a two-or-three-floor acessable area in each.

In one of the buildings, my whole "glass-tunnel-sniper" thing would be there, and... Hm, I'd be able to explain this with visuals... er, the vent would start on the far side of the sniper spot in the building. The glass entrance would be below the lowest floor, and you'd have to traverse the vent system to get to the far side of both buildings. Afterwards, the "tower" would be part of the building with the vents in it (since vents aren't usually just sticking outside of a structure) But at the top of that tower, the view of most of the place is obscured by the tower in front of it. You'd need to jump on that second "tower" to be at the sniper spot.

Arg... I'm gonna make a visual concept... MSPaint Style!

The building on the left is the "main building"... like, where the briefcase is, or where to plant explosives to blow up the water cooler (a very important water cooler!). The right could be where the assaulters start (and where the sniper spot is). So in one sense, the sniper spot is useless for the assaulters (and would an assaulter camp there, he'd piss off the rest of his maybe-dead comrades!) and would be difficult to get to the glass floor for the defense (who would, if they got there in time could hopefully snipe the hell out of any guy with the briefcase! It'd also be a very coveted spot for Deathmatch games... massacre at the glass floor...

On to the "tower", it's one tower... that looks like the messed up tuning fork or something. Climbing the ladder would bring you to the top of the east half of the tower and you'd have to make a pinpoint jump to reach the sniper spot, or fall to a gruesome death at the gap between the tower (Or maybe just enough where you couldn't just jump back up).

Also those question marks between the buildings is where the idea of the "Leap of Faith" is required. Perhaps you CANNOT jump from roof to roof, but HAVE to jump from the roof to the second or second to first floor to make it. Or maybe somewhere in that gap, there's a ladder/board/thingie you can run across to make it over. Hm, that's be pretty sweet, seeing the whole assaulting force starting from the roof, all busting throug the second floor, all SWAT Team-like. Or you could just make the buildings close enough to jump across parallel levels... or something.

OR... the buildings can require the leap of faith, but instead to the side of those two buildings is another building! And you can make the jump from either building to this one. A simple deviation to keep either team from reaching the objectives quickly and recklessly (just jumping off the edge to the lower floors and all).

...And now to take over the world!

Ok, I've done one really weird secret, but that's for u to hear about later. I'm trying to puzzle out my lift to the roof, get it working. And I've started building the second floor.
