We needed more action. We have now moved to Mordred

After thinking about it for awhile we voted on moving the guild over to the Mordred server.

Why? We want more PvP and lots of it! Mordred is full time PvP anywhere and you see about 5x the amount of fights if no more than a regular server. Add to the fact you are against more skilled opponents and its a perfect decision.

Realm does not matter on this server, you can be any race/class and join up with us.

If anybody is interested let me know, and please ignore the post below as we have now permanently moved from the Igraine server.

welcome LT. Poo and I were doing a little pvping last night, heh actually gained a level from it and it was SOOOO much fun. just jump in the DAoC channel when you see us on and we will bring you up to speed. if you need help picking a spec class we have all tried a bunch of different classes and can help you out. should only take an hour or so to catch you up to our level.

Okay, my curiosity is peaked...no Imp your mind tricks aren't working...well exactly. You guys are pitching DaOC like crazy in the forums, but I have yet to hear a good reason for playing this game. What's it like, why is it better to devote my time to than the other games I'm playing? Give me a reason besides so that ya'll will shut the heck up.

The different classes and realms in the game are actually very different, and are very different to play, there is no macroing in the game at all so you actually play instead of sitting in one spot hitting a button for hours on end

and the pvp is very fun and easy to get into, even at low levels. Plus there is absolutely no lag and I get 60+ fps constantly.

a friend of mine from way back plays this game. I considered buyign it awhile back but never did. Is it pay to play? I just might pick it up..

it is pay to play but you can download a 7 day free trial which includes the shrouded isles upgraded graphics engine. if you do decide to buy it it's like $19.95 CDN, which is like practically free in US$
There is a second expansion called trials of atlantis with another graphics engine upgrade but is only for level 40+ chars and not necessary even when you do hit 40+

They are also working on their second free expansion which will bring the character models up to date with the rest of the game, and make pvp even better but it is still a few months off. Out of all the MMORPG's I've played the pvp in this one is hands down the most balanced and full featured. Even the PvE in this game is pretty fun.
