Hm, Already had Tribes 2, though some pirate used my online CD Key before I did. This is great. Who else has already downloaded it?

Yeah I used to own it as well back in the day but lost my CD-KEY, the original Tribes was the first Multiplayer FPS I ever played online, back before I had *gasp* high-speed. I will be downloading it when I get home. wanna see how it runs on my new rig LOL

There seems to be some really funked-up issue with the e-mail CD keys. There was a solution posted in the gamespy forums, I tried it, but it wasn't exactly thorough... Still trying to get the Key...

Okay, Gamespy goes into a loophole that continues swapping you through "verification" pages. You need to log out, close that window, log in another window (log out and in again for good measure) in order to break the verified loop. then go to "www.fileplanet.com/betas/tribes2.aspx".

I guess this game was fun 3 years ago but what a waste of HD space now. I had to try it again though, (like BadAsh said on my new machine) and being a old fan.

The whole time playing Tribes2 all I could think of is how much is pales to Onslaught UT2K4. Tribes2 is like a 1996 Corvette, Onslaught UT2K4 is a Ferrari F50 in my opinion. If you have any likeness to Tribes2, you gotta go get the UT2K4 demo and you won't believe your gaming eyes.

The vehicles in Tribes2 made me point and laugh ... then cry. The vehicles in UT2K4 are like getting an all day pass to six flags.

UT'04 needs BOATS! ...So I can go <i>fishing</i>.

Truly, Twybez-too is actually a rather unbalanced game, Assault with Shield Pack and grenade launcher/Spinfusor can only be defeated by either a really good sniper or five other non uber guys. (Like me and my penchant for pistols)

Getting oh-four soon. (Damn you Mihael... er, peer pressure!) I miss my Enforcers (which is why I hated 03, next to the lack of Assault), these assault rifles suck.

If you went and verified your email, log out of gamespy/fileplanet, log back in then go to that page.

Well that just blows, i got the free d/l, got my email verifyed, went to get the cd key and the page said we are no longer distrubiting the free version of tribes 2.........lol.........just my luck
