PHX UO Server

My self in conjunction with KnighStalker and Sauk, and serveral other people have built a UO server. I know Sauk made a new post about the server the other day but thought that some more information about the server was needed. The Felucca dungeons are fully spawned. There is no skill cap, meaning you start with 120 in every skill. There is also no stat cap, you start with 125 in Dex, Int and Str. This isnt the way that it was back on Catskills but we all spent years working our skills, and all of you much longer than I did. There is also no wait for ethereal mounts, no need to buy reagents any more. You might say that there is nothing to work for then, runic hammers and sweing kits are avalable. They are for sale and they can also be earned by doing Bulk Order Deeds. At the moment there are no Artifacts for the players. There may be Artifacts avalable later on but they will be earned. There are two new quest items and more to come soon. There is a Keep for the guild and a guild stone allready in place. I invite all of the old PHX players, Darkkan, Dnasty, Xor and all of the rest to come join us. All new players are welcome also.

Make sure to click on the link for the free download.

To play on the server you will need also download UOGateway from http://www.uogateway.com/uogateway.html
Once you have UOGateway installed go to the public server tab and look for the server named Order of the Phoenix. Click the link for the server and UO will open. Just put in a username and password and your account will be created.

It is sorta like Diablo 2 but with alot more mobs, skills and items. UO consist of a large world. You can also place houses on it and you start off with a million gold and a house placement tool when u create a character on the server. If you go to the link on the first post u can download the game for free then download the UO Gateway and connect. I think you would enjoy the game. When you log in the game just let us know you want on the PHX stone and we can get u on the guild stone.

I am interested im playing. I played UO once, but I lost interest because it was only me and my friend playing, and we didn't know squat. So, I'd appreciate it if my fellow PHXers could lend a hand helping me understand everything that I need to know.

*Edit* Aw, the download is only a 15 day trial.... thought it was full version. Guess I have high hopes lol.

The 15-day trial is if you want to play on the Official UO shards, UM. To play on the PHX Shard is free. Get the client and then go to UOGateway.com for instructions on how to play on the PHX Shard.

I tried downloading the client but it wouldn't go for some reason. I think it has something to do with gigex's download controller or something...will try again soon.

For whatever reason, I can't even access Gigex at all. I wonder if it was put into my hosts file...

Hah, it was. Gettin' it. At least I think I am, weird download thing.

Yes, the Gigex download window at the bottom of my screen didn't work either... it seems like a picture of some sort was supposed to appear and didn't. Anybody know how to get it to work?
