W-XGA?

I'm getting a flat-panel for my dev machine and I came across what I think is a pretty decent deal: 299.99 for a 17-in TFT LCD Widescreen.

Now, I've seen the widescreen displays before, and I've also noticed a lot of interviews with Devs usually show them working on them (because it provides more screen real-estate along with a method to avoid lovely word-wrap without shrinking font or increasing the resolution. My question is, have any of you ever owned or used a W-XGA monitor? If so, what were your impressions?

I currently own and use one for my developement and it blows the old dual monitor combo away. I will not go back to a regular square box monitor ever. It rocks and you will not be dissapointed.
