Shifty informed me today that he has droped out of of the voting process or anything to do with phx. If you wish to speak with him he has taken up residence at csf.

Frankly PJ, I don't give a crap where he goes because it is totally up to him. I just hope you don't wanna leave too. And as for going to CSF...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, omg, what a nutsack, AHAHAHAHAHA, I hurt soooo much, <uses stupid voice> please don't use obcenities on our server</stupid voice>ROFL <sigh>

Right this is seperate from my laughing fit. I've spoken with Shifty and am writing this as Im discussing it with him. He says that he is leaving because he was a recruit for 4 months. In that time he has practiced and fought well in the name of PHX. However, he still didn't get full membership. Now it isn't that he didn't get voted in, it is that he didn't get put in for more than one vote and that was for recruit. According to the calendar we were meant to hold 4 votes between when he got his recruit status and now. He was only put in for one more other than recruit and he was pulled out of that one for unknown reasons to him. I'd like to ask his sponsor Midnight why he was not put in for more? And also ask about how long it should be before a recruit gets in, because he contributed a lot in 4 months and was there when he could be. Sure he could be annoying, but overall I enjoyed his company. Does everyone consider an automatic entry a possibility after a certain time if the person hasn't been totally voted off and was close to entry on preceding attempts?
I'm not trying to get him back in, because he has told me that he is gone. I would just like to discuss the situation for future recruits. I cannot be at the meeting tonight, it is way to late for me on a school night. Can someone PM a copy of the discussion to me please? I'll try and read it when I can. I'm not saying he should have got in, it is just that the situation has created question that can be asked about the whole recruiting topic.

Hope I'm not being a dick and causing more trouble. I'm expecting a hamm-ahh from Den.

June, he got recruit status.
July, his sponsor didn't feel he was ready for a full-member vote.
August, we didn't have a vote.
September, votes are starting today, but I hadn't heard from Mid on whether he was being put up for a full vote.

Guess it's a moot point now....

guess so, and i was no going to put him up. actually i was going to talk with him this week about not being phx material and having come back in a year or 2, when he matured a little.

I just want to state for the record, I played with Shifty and never found him immature, only played with him the last 2 weeks or so. He was also im my opinion a good player, if that puts up any points in his defence.

Yes I took the hint about a month ago that it wasnt going to happen but i stuck around for another month just to see, I am sorry to you guys that liked me but it made no sense to me to stay. And Midnight if you thought i was immature why didnt you tell me sooner or something or nonetheless tell me so i could find another sponser?

I will probely still come in and talk to a few of you on vent every now and then I think its only fair that i shouldn't leave my friends behind. All I can hope is that this doesn't happen to more people in the future, cause "I can tell you first hand it isnt fun".

i agree, Mid you had plenty of chances to talk to shifty. Not to jump all over you, but i think your making excuses for beening irresponsibe. Again i respect you mid and i kno that gaming isnt your life but take some resposiblity for what has happened.
