I got in got my shroud got my deeds each charcter and the minis but laggs still horrific and there are no more places to build a new house unless you want to upgrade your current house on its footprint. all in all it sucks so far but im going to start gearing up my warrior..oh did i mention all that work i did on resists does nothing for me because its all item based now.(items i dont have because i cant connect or lagg) all the skill resist does is stop posion alittle and stat altering spells IE weaken,feebelmind, curse. yippide frickin deee!

Damnit.

I really hate to post this.

But I cant hide my anger any longer. I played and played and played this morning and tonight and I am done with UO.

Please do not try and convince me to stay, I don't need to hear anything more or be told to try this or that. I really want to go. I'm not the one who "quits" 5 times to come back later. I never have quit before, and I do not joke or play when I say I quit.

I'm done.

Its been a fun ride and have enjoyed playing with you great people.

Now, I am not quitting PHX, hell no. I'm just dumping UO. I love PHX and will be in SOF2 and hopefully some other good online RPG to fill UO's shoes shortly. (I'm going to wait and see what game everyone chooses as our next one)

I have to say that this is 100 times worse than pub 16 ever was. Half loot, and harder monsters, ontop of it my resist is woth shit. Im not sure what the hell they were thinking when they came up with these ideas. I was looking forward to a new chalanger but they just messed ever thing up completly. I will give it time but this is not looking bright for playing uo any more. Hell i have nothing to bless ether.

XOR you need to relax alittle before being so rash... when you had 50 deaths and 4 kills in sof you didnt quite..i dont like it at all either but atlest give it more then 2 days..lets see how things pan out then atleast you can say you made a rational call not one made out of frustration.

Well I fell about the same way also, not only have they screwed my characters, they have took it apon themselves to ruin skills that I have worked my butt off for. Btw warriors where equal to mages after pub 16, that is why the tank mage went away. This new system is all warrior the poison is still easy to cure, and all the moves are for warriors, and they made so your mana goes up faster but that is more for the warriors to do thier moves. You dont have to be good at pvpl just have better items then me. I cant walk outside now with out getting ganked, and Oh my armor that I have for darkk doesnt give me good resist so i have to fight someone with better resist then me, becuase hes a warrior and can use armor.

I know it appears I'm being hasty, and maybe I am. But the honest truth is I have no desire to play UO anymore. PvP is gone. It's no longer chesslike, and 1 hit kills are a joke. And I don't hunt monsters.

I'm not selling my account, because someday the game could be fun again, but I don't know. I feel good about my decision and look forward to not wasting my time with UO anymore. The only thing I'll miss are the people.

I'm focusing all my energy to SOF2 now.

They did not take into consideration that most poeple that play UO are not that new at the game and are established. They apparently forgot that people buying new copies of the game are probably not making new accounts but are upgrading them. They plain old fogot about us. I think that some one on the development team started playing D2 just little to much and forgot about UO. hopefully they will take into consideration the changes that im sure people are pushing for and they will reverse some of these awfull mistakes that they have made. If they dont, there wont be much left of UO when ever one leaves.

Well, all I'll say is that unless a whole bunch of people upgrade to AoS, have a public outcry that it sucks, quit, and *here's the important part* quit paying on their account....they won't change a thing.

You can complain and argue all you want, but as long as the $$$ is going in their pockets, they don't care. In fact, if revenues go up (even though active players go down), they will claim its a success and similar changes will be lined up.

Ok the world of UO is alot different, now there is no one on one really its ganked or be ganked. I still cant get into malis the new lands. We are going to start working on getting guild skills up in the blacksmith and tailor area for better equipment. If you want to help with this please let me know

I have a tailor that I had been working on before mainly for money while I was getting back up and running. I will work on advancing his skills to help where I can.

we all have a smith its a 120 smith we need and a 120 tailor. Also we will start workign up guild supplies to make this stuff

Well I see there isnt alot of posts on AoS, and from the amount of people I see in the game from the guild, more then likely it went over like a lead ballon. I personal dont like much of the game, but I still will play it to see if I can get into the new super nerf all my mages.

Here i am at home can play UO, and guess what, you guessed it, Cats is down. This is the most bug filled, worst planeed expansion to date. I cant get in half the time and when you do it is so lagged whats the point. OSI you guys really SUCK
