Is anone picking up Rome Total War... I heard its really good and I'd like to revive the RTS interest round here...

i may get it.. its basically the same as shogun:total war a few years back... and i like that game.... my main RTS game now is star wars:battlegrounds and the expansion, clone campaigns..... i used to be big on star trek: armada as well

I had the first Total War and loved it. I haven't played any of the subsequent ones, but I've heard good things.....

I heard that there is a new rts out there based on the james bond villans, you are the villan and have to build your secret island lair (with ping pong tables to keep your men happy) and steal and kill .... but being careful not to atract too much attention so that you keep the spies and armies away til you are powerfull. hehe

Yaz - you are referring to Evil Genius. There is a demo you can try of it. I hear it's quite good....

Speakig of LotR, there is a new RPG ocming out on console called LotR: The Third Age. Its a turn based game, similar to Final Fantasy. From what I've seen from the previews, it looks pretty good.

awww dude....i dont like this kind of rts....starcraft and warcraft are more my taste. Badash i might look into lotr
