Den has beaten Half-Life 2. On hard mode. In a total of eighteen hours. Its only the 17th. He awaits the third installment.
Now I'm going to cheat the hell out of the game and do all kinds of fun stuff.
And then get Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Are you serious? 18 hours? Well then I do not have much to go, but man, what a beautiful game. Kicks the crap out of Doom3.

Hell yeah eighteen hours. Remember!
Halo 2 = about... four hours of monotony.
Doom 3 = about six hours of semi-monotony then another hour of tedium.
Half-Life 2 = eighteen+ hours of an ever-changing style of gameplay, different settings, and epic immersion.

You beat Doom 3 in six hours? Did you have a freakin speed hack going on cause it took me considerably longer than that and I hardly ever died.
Oh, BTW -> less than 24 hrs for WoW.....*giggles thinking of my flower basket and sundress* Tra la la la......

not sure why this game is so good- sure the gameplay is great but the single player is getting very very tedious.... so little shooting and so much trying to find how to get out of locations that seem to have no goddamn exit.
