Aight guys since it looks like we are going to do this and you all are anxious of getting pwned by me in a diff game. Imma take the liberty to post links and info so we make sure we all running the same crap.

Well, I dont have Vietname, but my brother just sent me a WWII game pack with included 1942. I guess I will be playing some of that when I get sick of WoW.... someday.

BF:Vietnam is a crappy 1942 mod.

It's better to just play 1942, its expansions (like Secret Weapons), and the awesome mod Galactic Conquest.

stop hating den We just like the idea of launching napalm to peeps spawn, and] get more of a modern feel of a war game instead of keep playing them really overrated and boring ww2 type of war games. I have original bf1942 and true its good but some of sof peeps only got BF:V so we will just stick playing that Suxorz game dont meet your standards, but we just like the idea of getting bunch of choppers/jets and air raide the crap out of other peeps spawns muhahaha * if we even get to master to pilot damn things * If you have the game, you are welcome to join us in the sof channel. After two minutes of deciphering that:

Nam is just as archaic as WWII, only difference between them being helicopters, gamewise.
"Master piloting the damn things"? More like "ever getting to fly the damn things"!
I will beat you down with my engineer wrench! That is, if I wanted to play BFV again, which I don't.
Perhaps if it was that Bush War mod, or the Point of Existence mod.

Otherwise, I'm just gonna wait for something like F.E.A.R.

ohhh man lol that sounds bad grrrrr !!! lol soo mean do0d , we are planing to use a mod to get even more modern weapons/cars. Bush war looks like the only full and patched mod that i could find . POI is not fully developed i think still on beta . Original vietnam game is pretty hard you are right hehehe our main idea is install a mod and pwn on that and no you and your wrench dont stand a chance try to deci .... some thing something this now muahaha

Deciphering done.

Point of Existence has been in development longer than BushWar. I haven't played either mod recently (played POE back in Beta 1), but the only reason POE is still in "Beta" is because it is doing a lot more than BushWar may seem to be doing.

"Pretty hard"? Flying helicopters is easy, planes too. But the issue with aircraft is in going to any server filled with random guys and ever getting to pilot one.
