Star Wars: Galaxies
Hey guys, I don't know if anyone else in our guild is, but I lucked into the Star Wars: Galaxies Beta....I'll try to give updates, thoughts, and screenshots as I go. I'm supposed to get the CD tomorrow.......can't wait....my precious.....I neeed my precious!!

Since I don't really play UO anymore, and E&B didnt hold my attention, I hope this one pulls through.

I intend on doing a full blown SWG experience. I am at the sony boards a lot and here are my thoughts atm.
scs (single character server): sucks... I like to have my tradesman but I must MUST have my pvp char... with only 200 total skill points I wont be able to do trade skills at all
Force sensitive slot: pretty cool Idea, If I open one then I will try to make a jedi for sure, he will be my combat dude and I can use my "normal" slot for trades (see above)... what does suck a little is permadeath if a Jedi gets killed... but oh well, getting there is most of the fun anyway :p...
looks like a winner game with UO designers heading up the project and the backing of verants code writers (eq is verant for those that dont know)... add to that lucas arts keeping their world "sane" or with the storyline... should be a winner. Will proabably be a lukewarm start from the sounds of things, cutting this or that to make deadlines.
Then again I beta'd and did AO for 24 months of live (you know, the beta you pay for)... so anything will look like a DREAM compaired to ..Step... step... step ... server crash over and over and over lol. AO was fun, but what a pos piece of coding.
