Car wreak

Being the captain of the JV soccer team it is my job to protect my players when there out on the field, to make sure nothing bad is happening. Yesterday my friend and someone i had met b4 got in a car wreak. The rumor bounced around school untill it was comfirmed. At about lunch tiem it was comfired that Ransom (the guy i had met) was dead. The whole school was devistated. I planed to go see Alex and made get well soon cards and was goign to have the soccer team sign them. I got a call from my Coach about 45 mins ago, Alex is dead. I have a guilt of not being there to protect him, but i know i couldnt have.
