terrorists strike at london
i hope every1 over in the UK area is ok i woke up this morning and heard on the news and internet that 7 bombs went off in london england. 4 in the transit area and 3 in moving bus. here is some of the report from cnn.com
Four explosions in London's transport system have killed at least two people and wounded dozens more in what UK Prime Minister Tony Blair said was an apparent terrorist attack. A group calling itself the "Secret Organization group of al-Qaeda Organization in Europe" claimed responsibility in a Web site posting. The authenticity of the claim could not immediately be verified.
the figures for remains found is now in the 40+ range.

Hey yeah, I can't speak for Pink, but everyone I know is ok. Thanks for caring Sniper.
My Auntie missed one of the explosions by a few minutes. She was just leaving the station when it went up (now that's lucky).
My mum was already at work and my cousin last I heard was sealed in Canary Wharf because there was a search being done (one person was already shot dead on suspicion of terrorism).
This is nothing close to the scale of other terrorist disasters, so we're counting ourselves lucky. But it's still, nonetheless, a terrible event. London's transport is gonna be up the spout for the next couple of weeks and, unofficially, the number of fatalities has now reached double figures.
I totally agree with one of the victims in the explosions; We should take pity on the people who carried this out, because pity is all we can have for someone who could do something this terrible to his or her fellow human beings.

Whew, its a relief to hear you guys and your families are ok. We live in a crazy world nowadays, and it's sickening to see what some people will do for unforgivable reasons. It's sad news, but thankfully not too many people got killed.

I'm glad I got home when I did. When we were in London, we took the underground everywhere.

One of my mates is waiting on news of a few friends who were on one of the trains, but otherwise all good here as TNS said. Nowhere near the scale or shock effect of previous attacks on the city (see IRA Docklands bombing, etc. , terrorism has been a risk for decades and the city is fully organised for such events). Still nasty though, but life goes on for most.
Time stops for no-one. Why should I?
