getting ripped off!!
getting ripped off!!
I just paid $40 freaking dollars for 12.126 gallans of gas!!! I know it cost more than that when I went to Europe, but dammit it doesn't cost that much here. I know it cost quite abit last time I went to Canada as well. I need to get me a smaller car, I have two leases one is a Taurus and the other is a damned gas guzzling piece crap Gand Am GT with some stupid ram air (whoopee) that just pushes more fuel to be wasted. I just filled the Taurus up, I will try to wait till tuesday or wednessday to fill up the other. those poor bastards in New Orleans, I can't imagine the hell they are going thru. I watched some interviews with a few "guests" of the superdome and you can tell it sucks hard. rant n roll
RE: getting ripped off!!
It really does suck.
They say it's because of demand like India and China. Thanks guys!

Gas went up 20% up here in Canuck-ville too. Ridiculous to blame it solely upon the hurricane. This is category 5 price gouging at its finest. Glad I don't have a vehicle to whine too much about it but transportation for everything from public transit to delivery service will punch it up a notch too. Less travelling for everybody.

I'm probably going to be looking at aroud $100 CDN to fill up my tank with current prices, with the old (but still high) prices it would cost me about $80.
Damn 4.0 L truck with a huge gas tank.

This is b/s but what are we going to do they have by our balls ,we have to drive to work. soon we'll be working so we can drive to work if that makes any sense lol.A gas station on my way to work .50 cents in two days.my luck this will be the biggest snowfall and i won't be able to afford gas for my sled. ;| iI'll be so pissed if that happens.Bush can lick my ball sack to he could stop this if he really wanted to.just another one of his #$$%^ ups.watch the stock market also plunge in a week or so.oh it is anywhere from 3.00 to 3.59 depending which station is bending you over to grab your ankles!!!
We could always issue a 2 year repeal on a bucks+ worth of gas tax per gallon and in the meantime tap into select areas of our own country and effectively become self sufficient for 20 years (some say 100 years). If in 20 years we haven't mastered an alternative to oil, we deserve to be in danger.
It's like we're stuck in some twisted pyramid scheme. Or some mad men's holy war.
I have faith in all of us -the people-. This is a challenge to beat to a smoldering pulp. Something good's gotta come from this.
Then again, I hope with all this cash oozing from their turbans they don't have a renewed zeal for "Nuke the infidels", ahh I can hear Louie Armstrong now ...

And sorry to say - but I have a feeling the Gods/Goddess's are really pissed off at the Greedy President we have and thats why they caused such a chaotic event of natural disasters .... but ya know its not gonna change anything til he realizes that. :/ just my take ... I really feel bad for all those who lost loved ones... but now we are being punished even more. *sigh*

$3 dollars a gallon here in Sacramento, California. I'm not even concerned about that though. I look at all the taxes, includeing the one on gas, there is a 8 cent tax on every bottle I buy, I have to pay taxes everytime I pay bills, wtf is up with that.
The truely sad thing is in the past 20 years California has almost declaered bankrupcy 3 times before someone lent them the money to get by.
I'm just wondering with all these taxes floating around, where dose all the money go. I think it all gets wasted by goverment organiztions, I say down with socialism, it's killing the econmy.
The only way it would work is if people were not greedy and dishonest, to bad we can't take that out of econmic formula as of now and probably forever.
O well, the goverment controls our lives for the most part anyway and the situation looks more and more hopeless everyday, I just there was a larger part of the population that was more intrested in goverment as a part of there dayily lives.
Check this out, a recent study shows that 1/3 or more (can't remember the exact number) of the total American population believes that there should be goverment sencorship on the media.
Wow, now I know there not the best source but lets just change the connsitution enough so it reads what the greedy want and let the guy that would just like to work for a living out on the street.
It seems to me that we don't have much of a bill of rights any longer but a bill of rules to keep everyone doing what the people upstairs want.

Here in CT, its 3-3.50 a gallon. I also read a quote last night on the net of some guy saying that this is a long over due wake up call and very much needed here in the US. HE said something about the people wanting to drive around in there gas guzzling SUV's but don't want to dig here in there back yard fot there own resources. Well, it was something to that effect.

Yeah, the prices are getting ridiculous. It's 1.25$ a litre up here in North Bay, not sure how that translates into gallons. My parents aren't too happy, since they're driving me down to Barrie for college. Even if we have a fuel efficient Honda Civic, it's still going to cost us big bucks. From what someone told my dad, the gas prices are estimated to be at 1.50$ / litre by the end of the year. Not sure where the guy got that information, but OUCH!
