Video Card debate.
i need some help with this one guys, alright. i have a Geforce4 MX 440 video card that only goes as high as 32 bit, yet i need a card that will properly function with cod 2 and battlefield 2 but at the lowest price i can get, any suggestions?
RE: Video Card debate.
I would go with a Geforce 6200 AGP (around $80 US) -or- for a little more get a 6600GT (around $160 US) I'm sure a few others in here have some good suggestions as well.
btw, 32 bit color is all there is. (24 bits per pixel RGB and 8 bit alpha.)

considering the fact thast you didnt give us the other specs of your machine... you wont get much help.... i had no probs playing CoD UO on my 1.7 pent with a mx 440 Gforce.. in fact i used it on SWG.. both with 512 ram... if your tryin to play it on a basic cheap ass mobo no agp computer then you might have some probs
give us some specs on your computer to get more info

Any card that is VS/PS 2.0 capable is fine. I would look at picking up an FX5900 real cheap before going to something like the 6200 (last years high end will always be better than this years low-mid end).. if you can the 6600GT is a pretty nice card as well.
If you have a fast system and don't mind spending a bit for a really good card grab a 6800GT or 6800Ultra which are wicked cards. They are actually the favorites here at work because of rock solid drivers and shader model 3.0 support.
Either way buying a video card right now is pretty much one of the worst times you can, considering the new cards will be released fairly soon and the prices on the existing cards will take a dive.
