Let me fill you all in on what's been happening. Back on December 10th I started getting pains in my abdomen. By the 13th my glands were swelling up and by the 15th I was being sick. So we went along to the doctor and he said it was an infection and that I should just take some paracetemol and that should work. So by the 18th I'm feeling better. The swelling had gone down and I wasn't feeling as sick. But suddenly I began getting violent cramps in my abdomen again, and this time there was no way I could sit that would make it better. So we went back to the doctor and he sent me off to the Surgical Analysis Unit.
They put me on morphine for the pain, which was still there even with the morphine, but at least it was bearable. Two days passed and they were about to send me home when they got worried because the pain was still there and I hadn't been going to the toilet for a couple of days.
So they opened me up to see if they could find a problem. Turns out I had a "growth" in my colon (probably a cyst). The removed the growth and my appendix because it looked red and like it might have problems later.
I spent Christmas in hospital, but my cool family came in and we had a present opening session by my bedside. I'm feeling so much better now and am looking forward to a happy new year (and a happy birthday). Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.
PS I'm gonna have an awesome scar
