i agree with you yaz but there are some people out there that like consoles too.

Certain games are better on console, but FPS's are not one of them.

Either way I'm gonna pass on the Hypestation 3, seeing as there hasn't been a single video of a single one of their games in action and yet they said that were going to launch in spring. I'm pretty sure they were trying to hurt the 360 launch by making people hold off, don't think many people had trouble seeing through the screen of BS though.

im gonna get it because there will be certain rpgs i wanna play on it but i will split it with my brother. i just laugh when sony is gonna do the same thing microsoft did and do a world launch. this christmas there are gonna be a lot more people pissed off than last when the 360 came out.

Actually they do have footage of a PS3 game in action. Haven't you seen the Killzone 2 video? Unless I'm mistaken, that was all in-game footage. It looks awesome, but I hope they won't focus more on graphics then gameplay.

PS3 will probably be my next console, seeing as how you can play every Playstation game ever made. I'll just wait several months after it's shipped before I get one.

Its nice to see that it will have HDMI outputs on it, but what a waste of technology. I also have heard that its going to cost between $700-$900. Hah, Sony can kiss my ass for that price.

But you need HDMI for 1080i and 1080p. Component cables only support 720p. But them again most hi-def tv's dont support 1080 yet. Im gonna buy it sell it on ebay and make some money off of it. Kinda wish i did that with the 360.

Even better, buy it, then sell the box on eBay. I saw some guy buy a 360 BOX for like 2000$, no joke.

Well heres the thing, the new HDTV's only have 2 HDMI inputs and those will be used for Cable/Sat and HD DVD, wich should be available around that time also. To me, HDMI outputs a video game is crazy.

Has anyone had the privalage of watching a HD DVD yet? I have. We have one from JVC as a demo and all I can say is WOW

Merc that killzone 2 demo was pre-rendered to show what the games would 'supposedly' look like on the PS3 as was most everything else. As with the PS2 launch Sony was trying to blow smoke up peoples asses, alot of people called them on it this time though.

I might consider it after the price drops just for the more intricate RPGs like Final Fantasy series and such. Otherwise i would never get a Playstation 3.

Well i for one am getting the PS3, because for starters if it is as powerful as they say its gonna be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time before i get a pc that good. Also, i know companies exaggerate on their products, but in case some people havent heard; when they have released stuff at E3 for example, and say "This is in-game graphics" there is a lil' thing called The Misleading Information Act which means they cannot actually lie about the product, unless they want people to sue their asses later.

Plus Dr Death, the PS3 might actually take that much to PRODUCE, but i have read several articles that say they are going to sell them at a lose. Thats what Microsoft did with the 360, so i wouldnt be surprised if the PS3s retail at a lower price.
