I've always liked BF2, but for whatever reasons it didn't really stick with the guild. I believe IDO, Waste, DMIC, Den, Merc and myself play (unfortuneately at different times) I apologize if I missed anyone.

Special Forces is kind of a mixed bag for me. I play stock BF2 mostly, and play special forces when I want to ninja around and solo.

But Jim ... why haven't you gotten your butt in COD2?? That's a game that is so easy to pick up and play. BF2 seems to always take alot of monkeying around and stuff, but we'd love to see you in COD2 bro.

A few new guns (all of which are new unlocks in vanilla BF2 whether or not you bought SF) and vehicles/soldiers with a skin swap (although the ATV and Jetskis are kind of new but basically just lighter one-man versions of the Raft and DPV). The grappling hook to climb walls is pretty good but there aren't many good places to use them and the worst classes get paired with them (sniper would be great with one, but instead gets the zipline).

It boasts "five new forces" but there is only one that has all the new guns, the rest are all armed with the very same MEC or PLA weapons (except now they have a dumb-fire only RPG7!). Also introduced a whole fuckton of issues in itself and in standard BF2, only some of which have been addressed now (such as the overlooked TOW missile that crashes any server no matter what). Worth it if you like small maps and slightly less vehicle combat, not worth it as an extension of BF2.

I hate it just for the massive flashbang spam, even with the .21 patch that lessened its half-a-mile whiteout range. Five flashbangs but still only one little smoke? To hell with that.

I'm not going to play BF2 in its current form (1.22), just waiting for both "Point of Existence" and "Shattered Faith".

I play BF2, but only when others are. IDO and DMIC have Special Forces. I think they like it, but I'll see if I can get them to come on to confirm. Get XFire and add them so you can see when they're playing.

Or get your butt in CoD2... 8-)
