New Vent - W00t!

Post by Archangelus »

Yep, you heard me right....new vent!

Thanks to some of our guildies, we have been provided with a new Vent Server running the latest version. This provides some relief from having to jump around from version to version. No fears regarding fees as this still will not cost our members a dime.

So what do you need to do?

If you have the Tri (or Dual) Vent install, you just need to fire up the 2.3.0 version and create a new server. If you only have the old 2.1.x client, then you uninstall and either use the Tri-Vent install (found in our downloads section) or get the latest client from Ventrilo.com. Your call....

Pertinent information
---------------------------
Server IP: 66.246.206.72
Port: 3875

As of EOD Friday, the Vent Status block on our site will start showing the new server.

If you have questions, let me know!

Something has gone funky w/ the Vent Status block, but the server is up and working fine.

Hope to have the Vent Status block up soon....

I have no clue what is going on with the new vent and can't get ahold of the member who is actually in charge of it.

Just a reminder though, the old vent is still up and will be just in case these things happen.

Server: voice2.phoenixorder.com
Port: 3784

Client version: 2.1.4 (Use the Tri-Vent install in our Downloads section to have all three Vent versions.)

K - Folks - Vent is back up (2.3.0 version). The IP Address is the same as the other PHX 2.3.0 server. You need to make a small edit.

Change the port to 3875 and you should connect just fine. I haven't gone in yet to set up the channels again, but I will do that soon. We shouldn't experience any more issues.

Thanks!!
