What the hell does this mean.

We r not a mutliple clan system here. We are a single clan. And when a game dies we move on to another game. We do not drop clans and find another playing the current game we are playing.

So is Dave and YourBuddy still in another clan or what.

So forgive me if i am wrong but i thought we frowned on and shot down clan jumping.

Well the rule technically is that we don't allow you to be in another guild in a game we have an active division in. The curious question is we do have an active COD2 division, but not in the S&D gametype.

The one thing I want to make sure that all recruits are aware of is that PHX isn't like other guilds. We generally aren't looking for players that want to play in a game and when it's over, so is their participation in PHX. So, if you're interested, just keep that in mind.....

Actually, I think the issue you brought out was that YourBuddy is in multiple clans, and that's where the discussion sprung up.

correct me if i'm wrong but no matter what game-type it is, it's still in cod2 division .... right?

Yes, but here is the item I'm going back and forth on....

Let's say Cooler decided that he really wants to play S&D competition, but we don't have a team. Let's say that Cooler has asked and no one is interested in playing that type competitively. Can he playing COD2 S&D for another guild, without violating the rules?

If we're talking about a completely different game and the same scenario, the answer is 'yes'. We've done it in the past. But, a game which we have an active division.....I just don't know. I just wanted Dave and YourBuddy to be aware of our current rule.

dave I think your problem was you didn't introduce your self....it's like you were introducing your buddy. Ok, you have a friend but your revised verison would have been a lot better the first time.

How many clans is YourBuddy in guys. Who ever brought him in, needs to find out and get squared away fast.

The real issue here is the CoD division is too quick and eager to recruit. Whatever happened to just playing with somebody for a while before the possibility of membership is brought up?

Well ideally, the application will take care of this. There's really no harm in agressively recruiting players, but hopefully our admissions process and rules will flesh out any issues. Plus, YourBuddy hasn't done anything wrong. He didn't hide that he was in another clan for S&D competition, and he only has recruit tags at this point.

We still have to flesh out how Division Membership is going to work and how a situation like this would be affected by that introduction.
