Prey Demo

I'm downloading the demo for Prey. It comes with 5 single-player maps and 2 multi-player maps.

Anyone tried it yet?

Actually, just got it downloaded. Haven't had a chance to install it yet cause of circumstances out of my control, but should be on Vent and playing it within the hour.....

Runs nice, definately DOOM3 plastic wrap graphics ... multiplayer reminds me alot of UT, with a Blast Chamber twist.

Not sure if I like it or not yet, too early to tell. Even though it has some innovations, it has a stale taste right off the bat for me.

Shortest description possible:
Ever play Alien versus Predator 2? It's the same ol' guns the marine uses (with a few exotic Predator weapons) with the moving abilities such as running on walls like the Xenomorphs.

Played through the Singleplayer. It's the weirdest thing because I'm not impressed and yet am intrigued by the anti-grav tracks and "living" weapons.

Haven't tried the multi-player yet....

at first i thought it was really good. After playing it for 20 mins, i started to lose interest. COD2 and HL2 are still better. Its just something different. I might still get it when it comes out. Ill check out the multiplayer when i get home.

The singleplayer I thought was 'meh' though I do like their "portals", organic weapons, and gravtracks.

The multiplayer was fun, though I'm wondering if it will just be deathmatch - period....

If I had to choose on buy or not based on the demo right now, I'd probably pass......

i got it reserved looks good, gonna get the demo prolly tonight. Been selling it to customers as Turok meets halo
