The last 2 nights would have been good lol... probably going out tonight to celebrate the room mates birthday. I'll be on during the afternoon and sometime tomorrow.

Got mine about an hour ago. Sold out of DVDs, so instead seven (7) CD-ROM discs!
The game seems to run well at medium despite my rig having several parts under even the minimum requirements.

Started with a Bard in singleplayer. If we team up, I'll go with a Sorcerer or Ranger.

I've got my Warlock up to 11 now and he is kicking some major ass. Med armor and unlimited use of my magic-type abilities, it's pretty kick ass. I was debating taking a level of wizard so I can do red dragon disciple but I'm just gonna go straight warlock on this one.

Installing it now, how long does it take for the patch ffs, guess it should be just about done when I get back from my afternoon lecture.

Well Den and I managed to get a server running last night. The only problem I found was that the graphics were suddenly very laggy. I had to really turn stuff down, but even then it was pretty bad. It may just be Dens connection, or maybe it's a multiplayer issue.

The first patch was about 80 megs, the second one, released last night was 17. If the game is really choppy for you try lowering the view distance from 300 (max) in the settings to about 200. Made a huge difference for me. If it's still choppy then it could just be multiplayer lag, but I hope not. I'll jump on vent tonight if I see you on and try and join the server.

I'm sure it is my connection, what with all the massive things I download (and how Undead was having slowdown while I was smooth); my provider hates my series of tubes.
Things look funny at super low (point filtering) settings, everything is square.
Neverwinter Docks kill my frames at any setting. Must be all those little blades of swaying grass.
I play at 175 distance and with a direct-down top view so it doesn't draw a whole lot.

If we play tonight, what will your class be, Ash? Me Sorcerer, Undead Druid.
Our story has only gone as far as helping the Fort and clearing the graveyard.

Well since you've pretty much got the squishy caster and the healer covered, I can play either a rogue or a fighter.

Well that depends. I am using a custom module to build a monk and a cleric to the same level we got to last night (4). So far Druid is OK, but I beat NWN with the cleric and the expansions with a monk, both of which kicked serious ass.

I may decide to switch up the druid for one of the two.

EDIT: Definetly the Cleric. Unarmed combat blows in this one. Probably will go War Priest when possible.

I start Neutral and lean towards Neutral Good. Courteous, but will never turn down gifts or cash prizes.
I intend to be a total asshole to the elf NPC Ellisse.

I'll stick with a sorcerer.

Heh in the single player my character is CN and I've been playing it too a T I think. I pretty much do whatever suits me best and keep things about balanced so that nobody actually hates me. I've done some good stuff but I've been downright evil as well. Heh I did one thing that shifted me 10 points towards chaotic in 1 shot so I have a little leeway there I think.
