LOTR Online Beta?

Did anyone else get into The Lord of the Rings Online beta? I got in and they're doing account creating stress testing tonight, but I think Thursday is when you can actually start playing.

I just figured if anyone else got in, perhaps we could group up.

I got it...I'm gonna sign in tonight and try it out, I'll jump on vent if you want to group up, I'm not holding out much hope for the game though.

My invite says that tonight is only account creation. I don't think I can actually log in and play until Thursday. I'll post again when I know for sure.

Is anyone going to be doing the stress test starting Feb 23 I signed up, have my key and game is downloaded and ready to go

Myself and a buddy of mine will be in pretty much all weekend for the stress test, we will be in vent for the time we are in LOTRO.

I won't bother, I got an invite from Turbine but I wasn't all that impressed with the game back in beta. It was alright, it kinda felt like DDO meets WoW.

Unfortunately the only MMO games I'm ever interested in are ones with good PvP... so this one is out, although it doesn't look that bad for a PvE MMO.

Yeah but the whole reason I stopped playing AC at the time was because of the cheating :)

Honestly the whole thing was blown out of perportion and has been taken care of as far as I'm concerned. The incident involved 1 dev who spawned BPO's and then when his character was found out and removed gave them to his corp. CCP screwed up by not acting on it properly sooner but they HAVE made changes to thier policy. Hell they created an IA department strictly for internal policing so this doesn't happen again.
